UNDERSTANDING BREAKING LIMITATIONS (Part III)

The previous editions have described the various sources of a human beings limitations namely, as a created being; the inherent sinful nature and the law. However, the emphasis in Philippians 4:13 assures the fact that, victory is guaranteed in every area of a Believer’s life despite the prevailing limitations. Limitations can further be categorized broadly into two:

1. Internal (self-imposed) limitations—that include mindset; fear; sin, rebellion and disobedience; self doubts; and feelings of unworthiness or meaninglessness.
2. And external limitations – includes satanic and demonic barriers; generational foundations; circumstances and trials; sicknesses and conditions such as barrenness; way one was created; environmental; condemnation and separation with God; and people caused limitations.

No matter the type of limitation, the scriptures have proof that is beyond reasonable doubts that limitations can be broken! The following are some of the examples that manifests God breaking every limitation!!!

1). God “is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3:20). The truth revealed here is that God is not limited and can do beyond our wildest dreams/visions. What a blessed assurance!
2). “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!” (Mathew 19:26). Consequently, you see impossibilities when you measure God by the limitations of your unbelief. Christ can demonstrate the dynamic power that translates impossibility to possibility!
3). “Behold I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27). God provides an assurance that He is God and nothing is impossible to Him!!

The truth in Philippians 4:13 provides the Breakthrough in Christ that is at the disposal of mankind. Our union with Christ empowers every Believer not to live by individual strength but by Christ who live in us (Galatians 2:20). The indwelling of the Holy Spirit empowers every Believer to break every limitation and to live beyond any limitation! Indeed you can break that limitation through Christ who strengthens you!! Just Believe!!
